U11 Spelthorne Football Tournament

On 18th October Staines Preparatory School hosted a Spelthorne Football Tournament, inviting the local state schools to participate.

Aims

To offer the local maintained schools an opportunity to participate in a Football Tournament

Background

Organised by our PE Department.

An ongoing community event.

Resources

School facilities - School field and hall.

School PE Department and Gap Students.

In total 10 hours of staff time was dedicated to organising and running this tournament.

This tournament was free of charge to participate.

Impact

The impact from this session was that both boys and girls from the state sector were able to use our facilities.

Pupil Involvement

Year 6 (age 10-11) boys and girls.

Frequency

This is an annual tournament.

We will be looking at hosting another tournament in the Spring Term.
