Football Training Day in conjunction with Chelsea FC

On 13th September Staines Preparatory School hosted a Football Training Day in conjunction with Chelsea FC. Local state schools were invited to take part.

Aims

To offer the local maintained schools an opportunity to participate in a training day run by experienced Chelsea FC football coaches using Staines Prep facilities

Background

Organised by our PE department.

An ongoing community event.

Resources

School facilities - School field and hall.

Chelsea Football Coaches, School PE department, School Gap Students.

In total 10 hours of staff time was dedicated to organising and running this session.

This session was free of charge.

 

Impact

The impact from this session was that both boys and girls from the state sector were able to use our facilities and trained football coaches to particpate.
