Provision of Governors to Maintained Sector schools

A number of our senior management team sit on governing bodies of maintained sector schools and many act on related committees at those schools using their expertise to drive better practices at those education establishments.

Our Principal is a Trustee at The Wren Academies Trust. Our Headteacher is a Governor of the Wren Academy Finchley Local Governing Body whilst our Chief Operating Officer, and our school's Chaplain, are Governors of the Wren Academy Enfield Local Governing Body. Our Chief People Officer is Vice Chair of Governors at Ashlyns School, where she also sits on the Finance, Premises & Personnel committee.

Aims

To utilise their knowledge and experience to help advise in the leadership and policy setting of those organisations.

Berkhamsted School encourages its senior staff to take up roles in the maintained sector schools and allows the necessary time for each individual to engage fully with their governance responsibilities in those roles.
