Oscar Foundation with Shoreham Academy

Shoreham College asked Shoreham Academy to take part in a charity venture, hosting 17 young boys from India.

Aims

The aim of the event was to involve three schools in a charity activity hosting a 6-a-side football tournament for young men from Mumbai.

The event was a huge success; the pupils from all three schools enjoyed the interaction immensely. 

Resources

The Academy provided all three schools with use their astroturf. 

Teaching staff from all three schools were involved, for an afternoon.

Impact

The Oscar Foundation wrote that they were very pleased by the success of the event: it was a wonderful experience for the boys and pupils of all three schools.
