Author visit, with Shoreham Academy

Shoreham College hosted an author visit, in a joint venture with Shoreham Academy, organised by the librarians of both schools.

Aims

The aim of the event was to introduce young readers to the author's work, whilst providing an opportunity for young people from local schools to interact socially.

Background

The librarians of both schools liaised with one another for book projects and author visits. 

Resources

Shoreham College provided the venue for the author's visit.

Impact

The event was a success: the audience of combined year 8 pupis engaged with the author, asking lots of questions and pupils form both schools purchased literature published by her.
