Local reception teachers meet

SJS Reception teachers lead a group of local Reception teachers who meet termly to share good practice and moderate Early Years Foundation Statement judgements. The venue rotates each term, with teachers sharing the organisation.

Aims

The objective of this partnership is to work together with teachers in a range of settings, sharing good practice and moderating assessments -ensuring consistency.

The factors for success are regular meetings with a good attendance and judgements in a range of assessments agreed.

Pupil Involvement

The meetings benefit the children as a result of teachers from different schools working together. This allows for teachers to listen to new ideas, share problems and create a community of teachers. 

 

Frequency

This meetings are held termly with Peakirk, Newborough Primary and All Saints.
