Lincolnshire Chess

Stamford Junior School hosts the Lincolnshire Schools' Chess Championship. We provide the facilities, food and drink for competitors and their teachers/parents.

Aims

The aim of the project is to facilitate the annual Lincolnshire Junior Schools' Chess Championship. We have a suitable hall to host the competition and roster staff for weekend supervision.

Background

We have a Chess Club at SJS and we offered to host the annual championships.

Resources

School hall, staff, food and drink for competitors, teachers and parents.

Impact

All competitors are able to participate on the same day as we have a large hall.

Pupil Involvement

Junior School: 8-11.

Frequency

Annually, one Saturday per year.
