Horizons Academic Lecture

Great Hall was packed last night for a wonderful lecture from Dr Kate Evans, CEO of charity Elephants for Africa. Pupils from all year groups, parents, staff and friends of the School turned out in force to hear Kate's exciting story of elephant conservation in Botswana. The Old Wellingtonian outlined all the factors threatening the lives of african elephants and the work her charity is doing to address these isssues to protect this iconic species for the future. Thank you to Kate for taking the time to talk to us on this thought-provoking issue.

The Horizons Lecture series is open to all members of the school community. The aim is to provide interesting, thought-provoking and relevant speakers to stimulate debate and discussion.
