Cricket Coaching and Tournament
Every year Christ's Hospital hosts a cricket coaching session and fun tournament for up to 6 teams of players from local partner primary schools. The pupils spend the afternoon learning new cricket skills and being coached by one of our senior cricket coaches, this is then followed by a fun tournament where pupils can put into practice the new skills they have learnt. Cricket Tea is served after the event and all pupils are given a certificate of participation to take away
Aims
To share our cricket resources with pupils from local schools, providing coaching and tips for cricket players to help them improve their game. All players will also have to work as a team, developing their communicaiton skills.

Pupil Involvement
6-10 Christ's Hospital pupils who take part in the coaching and act as umpires throughout the tournament.
30-40 Year 5 pupils from partner schools.
