Creative Writing Masterclass

Year 5 children are invited from 20 local primary school to attend a standalone Masterclass in creative writing hosted on a Saturday morning at Loughborough Grammar School and run by the English department.

Aims

The session is held to inspire children who have an aptitude for writing/English and to develop their passion for creative writing and English.

Background

This Masterclass started in the academic year 2016-2017, having identified that this is something that primary school children would benefit from. It was identified by the English department at the Grammar School.

Resources

English teachers from the Grammar School are currently used and all the building on-site. Loughborough Grammar School fund the project.

Impact

This project is to inspire young children to write creatively and for them to have fun.

This is a single event that happens annually.
