Bury Panathlon

The Bury Panathlon is organisation which organises sports activity days for pupils with SEND in local primary and secondary schools in the borough. 

Pupils participate in a number of different sporting activities which are held at Bury Grammar School and are faciliated by sports leaders from the Bury Grammar Senior and Sixth Form.

 

Aims

The aims of the partnership are to enhance sporting opportunities for pupils with SEND.

Resources

The Panathlon uses Bury Grammar School facilities and is supported by BGS staff and pupils.

Pupil Involvement

The participants in the Panathlon are from local primary and senior schools and the BGS helpers are drawn from various year groups but are lead by the sixth form sports leaders.
