Supporting Psychology Teaching and Learning

An informal networking and support group of teachers between Pangbourne College, The Willink School and Theale Green school is enabling better teaching and learning of Psychology at A-level. 

Aims

To support teachers at all three schools with Psychology advice, guidance and resources.

Background

The networking group was set up in 2017 by the Psychology Department at Pangbourne College. Teachers from Pangbourne, The Willink and Theale Green meet termly as well as discussing issues via email and telephone.

In addition, Pangbourne College teachers provide support with the analysis of returned exam scripts from the summer.

Pupil Involvement

Ages of pupils are 16-18.

Between the three schools, approximately 100 students per year take Psychology at A-level.  

Frequency

The group meets termly and has done since 2017. The informal partnership is ongoing.
