School Governance at Battledown School

Battledown is a special school funded by Gloucester County Council providing specialist assessment of children 0-7 years old. A member of College staff is a governor.

Aims

The Governing Body of Battledown Centre is responsible for the conduct and effective management of the school. Committed to the young children and families attending the school, the Governing Body is also dedicated to the Headteacher, teachers and other members of staff, all of which, provide a caring and happy environment for all children in attendance.  Gaining an 'outstanding' Ofsted report 2013, it was reported that  'Battledown provides an exceptional start for young disabled children and those with special educational needs'.
