RNLI Friends of Tower Lifeboat

A partnership with the RNLI Tower Lifebat on the River Thames. The students take part in education workshops at Belmont and at the station.

Students will learn about water safety and the role of the RNLI across the country. Students also have the opportunity to fundraise for the RNLI and collect clothes donations, known as 'survivor kits'.

The Mill Hill pool is used to onduct water safety lessons and workshops.

Pupil Involvement

This is a whole school initiative involving Years 3-8. The fundraising is driven by the 'community committee' alongside support from staff.

Clothes donations are organised by pupils and delivered by Year 8 pupils to the Station mutiple times a year.

Multiple events and visits to the RNLI Thames Station take place throughout the year.
