Reading Mentors

Sixth Form students worked with pupils at St Stephens and Abbot Alphage to support with listening to young readers and maths mentoring.

Aims

To provide mentoring opportunities for senior students whilst supporting young learners requiring time and support.

Background

Head of Sixth Form working with Heads of Schools.

Launched in January 2022 with the intention of continued growth and partnership with these schools.

Resources

15 students visited two schools to offer this support.

15 girls in Year 12

Frequency

Attended fortnightly.  

Project is set to grow and continue.
