Impact Statement
We provide a rich programme of outreach workshops onsite at our Prep School and at our Senior School designed to give curriculum-enhancing opportunities for local primary school children who may not otherwise have the chance. Workshops have follow-up opportunities and we offer these for year 2 to year 6.
Additionally we work with the local School Sports Partnership and run a Gifted and Talented sports day for year 5 girls, to supplement Local Authority provision. We open our Aspire lecture programme, school events and parent talks to the local community and actively advertise these as public events.
Over 50 local state schools have been represented at our outreach events and as a result we have established the Royal High School as a centre for Saturday morning workshops increasing opportunities for local pupils but importantly, providing curriculum extension opportunities for state schools who cannot otherwise provide this offer.
