Primary school science

Pupils from Years 3-6 at a local primary school visit Headington every four weeks for a Science activity. In addition, we have hosted one-off sessions. For example, students from Barton Park Primary School also came to the school to take part in a chemistry workshop to supplement their learning.

Year 5 students from Barton Park visited Headington to take part in a three-hour workshop in which they learned about physics, namely forces, as well as another workshop on Biology, which looked at bones. These sessions mixed practical work with theory and the students also stayed for lunch.
