Partnership with St Barnabas' CE Primary School

We feel fortunate to have held a mutually beneficial with one of our closest local primary schools, St Barnabas' CE Primary, for over a decade.

FHS funds the entire Trips and Visits programme at St Barnabas' as well as providing volunteers for homework clubs and lunchtime activities, and over 30 years of World Book Week support with invitations to author talks and donated books.

Examples of how we help:

-          Sixth Form Volunteering – over 30 LVI pupils visit St Barnabas' weekly to support lunchtime learning.

-          Computer Science Masterclasses with St Barnabas Year 5 and Year6 pupils.

-          St Barnabas' Year 6 joined the FHS Creative Perspectives Workshop and Exhibition on Climate Change.

-          St Barnabas' Trips Programme is entirely funded via FHS donations.
