King's House School: Eco Day 2015 (Cavendish Primary School)

This project also involved Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School, Richmond.

An interactive event to enable children to develop an understanding of their role as members of both the local and global community in which they live, including interactive attractions such as:

Meeting and handling threatened wildlife and species with Animal Man;
Promoting healthy eating with Smoothie Bike;
Football and ten bin bowling with balls made out of recycled plastic bags;
Making music with Junk Orchestra;
Making ‘grass heads’;
Games about food air miles and much more. 

Aims

This is an interactive event to enable children to develop an understanding of their role as members of both the local and global community in which they live.

Resources

There is no financial contribution from any participants.

Pupil Involvement

Pupils from Years 4, 5 and 6 are involved.

Frequency

An annual event, it has been running since 2012.
