Chorister Recitals Across our Diocese
Salisbury Cathedral School choristers regularly visit hospitals, homes and churches across the Diocese to sing for people who are unable to travel to watch them perform in the Cathedral. The children are proud to bring a slice of the 900 year old tradition of Salisbury Cathedral School choirs to elderly and vulnerable members of their community.
Aims
The purpose of the chorister recitals is to bring the music of the Salisbury Cathedral choristers to members of the community who are unable to travel to see them.
Frequency
The visits occur twice every term. One visit is conducted by boy choristers and the other by the girls.
