Bright Beginnings

Pre-school aged children are warmly welcomed to Salisbury Cathedral School on Friday mornings to partake in our ‘Bright Beginnings’ toddler group. Making the most of our unique setting and musical expertise, every session is lively and fun as the children sing and play instruments to their hearts’ content.

Many families choose to attend our ‘all welcome’ Friday morning worship in Salisbury Cathedral, before Bright Beginnings. Firm friendships are often forged between the children, and their families, who regularly attend.

Aims

Share Salisbury Cathedral Schools' musical expertise with the wider community. 

Introduce a love of music to young children. 

The school aims to benefit the young families within its community with a weekly, friendly, musical group for pre-school children.

Resources

Bright Beginnings uses a school classroom and an experienced teacher once a week for an hour. Salisbury Cathedral School covers the cost of staff, venue and refreshments. 

Pupil Involvement

Bright Beginnings is for pre-school children with a responsible adult.

This event is hosted every Friday during term time.
