Impact Statement
We were delighted to welcome over 1800 primary school pupils to Christ’s Hospital for enrichment events during the last 12 months. They enjoyed a diverse range of events and activities which included a Year 5 Solving Crime With Science Day for 60 Year 5 primary school pupils and their teachers, a Year 5 Maths Challenge for 150 local primary school pupils, a Year 5 Maths Challenge held in London for 150 London primary school pupils, a Year 4 Maths Challenge for 150 local primary school pupils, a Year 5 History Mystery Day, 200 Year 5 local primary school pupils for an interactive presentation all about Scott's Antarctic Odyssey, two Year 5 Cricket workshops plus a Rugby Festival. Two poster project days in our Art Department and a Poetry in Translation for workshop. Our annual Choral Day is a firm favourite for the primary schools and involves over 150 visiting primary school pupils. We also gave free tickets to local schools so their pupils could attend our two drama productions.
Testimonials:
Bugsy Malone – June 2018
Many thanks and congratulations to you, your colleagues and the Christ Hospital pupils for putting on such a fabulous show on Friday. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and you have given the children great inspiration and confidence for when they perform their own production later this term.
Thanks again

Solving Crime with Science – June 2018
Thank you very much for inviting and hosting us on Monday. It really was a wonderful day. The children were so enthused by the investigation and excited about using all the equipment that you had available. It would be lovely if you could pass on my gratitude to the teachers/organisers of the event who worked so hard and gave up their precious time to hold such a lovely event for us.
