World Book Day

On World Book Day Stockport Grammar School held a book swap, sale and cake sale to raise funds for Book Aid International and Educaid.

World Book Day is a registered charity on a mission to give every child and young person a book of their own.

Stockport Grammar School aims to encourage all of its students to enjoy reading.

The school annually supports World Book Day to raise funds for Book Aid International and Educaid.

A total of 76 world book day tokens were donated by pupils to send books to School Aid.

An additional £148 was raised.

Pupils organised a successful book swap, book sale and bake sale to raise money for the charity.

This is an annual event.
