Art Competition with local schools

Pupils from local primary schools are invited each year to take part in a Year 5 Art Competition. The pupils get to showcase their creative designs which are produced by using a range of media and techniques.

Pupils from local primary schools are invited each year to take part in a Year 5 Art Competition. The pupils get to showcase their high quality of the work created by using a range of media and techniquies. 

Resources

The pupils showcase their art work in the Main Hall at Stockport Grammar School. The competition is sponsored by Brewin Dolphin, a leading wealth management firm.

Pupil Involvement

Pupils in Year 5 at local primary schools are invited to attend the event. In 2018, a total of 17 schools and 119 pupils took part in the Art Competition.

Frequency

This competition takes place annually during the Spring Term.
