Theatre Production of Daisy Pulls It Off
Downe House's Upper School girls provided a lively and entertaining production of Daisy Pulls It Off, a tongue-in-cheek parody of life in a girls’ boarding school in the 1920s. After months of rehearsals, girls from the Lower Fourth to Upper Fifth gave three performances over three days. For the first performance, 3 local primary schools and 1 local secondary school were invited to come to watch, along with residents from 2 local Care Homes.
Aims
The production gave Downe House girls the opportunity to perform in front of a new and public audience and provide members of the local school and care home community with a fun and entertaining theatrical performance.

Impact
The production helped to foster a relationship with the local primary and secondary schools as well as offering an afternoon of entertainment to local care home residents.
