Sports Talk Enrichment Series

During remote learning, the Downe House Sports department organised a series of Wednesday afternoon online Sports Talks by leading figures in the industry. Speakers included English professional rugby player Graham Kitchener, British #1 Squash player Sarah-Jane Perry, Wales Lacrosse Captain Dr Eleanor Gaastra as well as lead Physiotherapist for Football Association of Wales Sean Connelly, and Assistant Producer at Sky Sports Claire Thomas.

The speakers talked and then there was a live Q&A where viewers could post their questions in Microsoft Teams.

The popular series was opened up to all West Berkshire Schools and we had over 31 schools with staff and students involved.
