The Ogden Trust

The Ogden Trust science partnership for North Dorset South Somerset (NDSS) is now in its tenth year. It has transitioned from funded to legacy stage but still aims to offer networking opportunities and collaborations for Physics staff and students in the area. The partnership’s aims are to encourage an increase in the numbers of pupils studying Physics at all levels and to support teachers of Physics. There are termly meetings for staff from all partnership schools and inter-school competitions.

A Sherborne Girls Physics teacher is the partnership co-ordinator. This role involves liaison with partnership schools, organising meetings, taking minutes, facilitating activities and frequent contact with the Ogden Trust.
