Candlelight Bursaries

Our Candlelight Bursary programme provides full, transformational bursaries to pupils who need our help the most and for whom a boarding education can be life changing. We partner with the Royal National Children’s Springboard Foundation (RNCSF) to identify suitable bursary candidates. At present we have four Candlelight recipients in the school, recommended by the RNCSF, and we aim to grow this number over time. Our Candlelight Bursaries programme is funded through The Sherborne Girls Foundation, which stimulates philanthropy to support the growth and development of the School as well as our social-responsibility activities.
