The Fleet School Partnership
We formed a partnership with The Fleet, a local state school, in spring term. We invited their Year 2 class to experience an author talk and the children participated in illustration and writing workshops together. In summer term, we invited Year 5 to take part in a cricket workshop led by our sports teacher, this is a sport they do not teach and led to some brilliant games and allowed the children to get to know one another. Finally, as outdoor learning is such an important part of our curriculum, we invited Year 4 and 5 to our 'Heath Day' on Hampstead Heath. Our teachers designed six activities from mindfulness, art in nature and scientific treasure hunts for all the children to enjoy together. We are looking forward to continuing this partnership in the future.
