Summer league netball

Over the course of the summer term, coaching is made available to the local Brownie and Guide groups, culminating in a fun sports day and tournament.  This creates important links for the school and the local community. 

Aims

The provision of specialist sports training gives children who are at maintained schools more opportunities to be involved at grass-roots level.

Background

The project came through a parent of the school who is a guide leader.

Resources

Children have full use of the netball courts and sports grounds.

Pupil Involvement

Students from Leweston School are encouraged to join in.

Frequency

This event runs annually every summer term.
