Regular ad hoc loan of minibus
The Queen Anne First School do not have access to a minibus so, from time to time, in order to take their pupils to sporting fixtures and other offsite activities, they borrow one of our minibuses free of charge.
Aims
To assist a local school with their need for occasional transport. The beneficiaries are Queen Anne School staff and pupils.
Background
The Queen Anne School office contacted Upton House to ask if we had a minibus and if it would be possible for them to borrow it for a specific event in early June 2016. Since then they have contacted us on many occasions and, when our vehicle(s) are available, we always offer to lend it. There have only been two occasions so far when we have been unable to assist as the minibuses were in use.
Resources
Upton House School minibuses (one 17 seat and one 9 seat) are lent for 2-3 hours at a time, typically. There is no charge to The Queen Anne Royal Free First School.
Impact
No assessment required.
Pupil Involvement
Pupils from the Queen Anne Royal Free First School are aged between 5 and 9 years of age.
Frequency
We anticipate that this arrangement will continue on an ad hoc basis for as long as The Queen Anne Royal Free First School wish it to.
