Primary School Partnership
We are sharing resources across a range of areas with Holy Trinity Church Of England primary school to create a mutually beneficial partnership.
Aims
To share resources, learning and create opportunities for our Senior pupils to volunteer and give back into the community.
Holy Trinity is situated next to our Senior School and had limited space. We have offered access to a small piece of land to develop an eco project with the school and create additional play space for their pupils.
We are also seeking to extend opportunities for extra curricular clubs in partnership with our own Junior School.
Background
Our Junior School Head created links between the two schools which were then extended through our Eco-committee and senior school vonlunteers.
Resources
Time and resource. Our teachers and pupils give up time to run morning clubs and we have allocated access to land which is being developed into an eco-space.
Pupil Involvement
Junior School pupils 4-11 years old.
SHHS senior school volunteers 16-18 years old.
Frequency
Occurs on a weekly basis and is likely to continue indefinetly.
