Prevent and safeguarding training

We have offered a number of training sessions in the areas of safeguarding and security. These included WRAP workshop - Prevent Radicalisation Training introduced by the Home Office was provided by Elizabeth Impett from Abbot’s Hill School to Nash Mills Primary school.  Three members of staff from Nash Mills attended and the course was held at their school.

Abbot’s Hill School provided the premises, parking, refreshment and resources to facilitate running the Safeguarding Course for 70 delegates. 15 were from AHS and the rest represented a wide range of state schools in the area. 

Aims

To roll out Prevent training to local schools. 

Impact

All three members of staff achieved their qualifications.
