Oxbridge Maths Preparation Sessions

Teachers from the Maths department link up with Magdalen College School to conduct mock interviews for state school students from across the UK for maths, computer science and engineering. Maths preparation worksheets are issued and feedback given over the six weeks of summer.

 

 

 

Aims

To help a greater proportion of students from state schools have the confidence and ability to get into Oxbridge giving them opportunities they might otherwise miss. 

Resources

Classrooms, questions, resources, staff time both within term time and throughout the holidays.

Impact

The impact is measured by how successful students are with their univeristy applications.

Pupil Involvement

Students aged 16 to 18 are involved. 

Frequency

This is an ongoing project with sessions and feedback offered to students throughout the summer term, both in-person and by email.
