Educational Partner: Kensington Aldridge Academy

Godolphin and Latymer is an educational partner of the Kensington Aldridge Academy (KAA). The partnershp covers academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and Higher Education preparation and involves staff and pupils.

Godolphin teachers run mock interviews for KAA Oxbridge candidates; KAA students attend G&L for A Level students not taught at KAA (for 2022-23, Mandarin); students attend the Renaissance Dining Event and the Undiscovered Subjects Taster Day.

Aims

The aim of the partnership which also involves Charterhouse is to share good practice between all three schools as well as sharing resources. Shared staff development has taken place with visits from Kensington Aldridge Academy (KAA) staff to Godolphin and Latymer prior to the opening of the academy and subsequently. Godolphin and Latymer staff also visit KAA regularly. Joint training has taken place and a programme for future training is in place.

There are opportunities for KAA students to study some subjects at Godolphin and Latymer which cannot be offered by KAA at present.

Pupils involved are aged 11-18.
