Keen Writers day with local primary schools

A group of keen writers from the Vale Academy joined Year 6 pupils from Aldwickbury school to spend the day with a published author and Poet. They worked on a variety of creative writing pieces with a particular focus on Poetry.

this author has been providing workshops for Keen Writers at Aldwickbury School for over ten years. He has inspired many local young writers and their teachers over the years. His creative teaching methods allow children to create truly unique poetry and prose.

Aims

To develop writing skills of enthusiastic Year 5 and 6 writers.

Background

A project introduced at Adlwickbury over ten years ago, inspiring hundred over young writers over the years.

Year 5 & 6 from Aldwickbury School as well as The Vale and Linden Academies.
