Forensics Day

A Gifted and Talented workshop for 10 students, each from Halton Combined Community School, Milbrook Combined School and Downley School. 

Aims

To stretch and challenge the more able Year 6 students in the sciences and to give them the opportunity to work in a Science Lab with specific equipment for the tasks.

Background

The challenge is to solve a crime using various analytical techniques including chromatography, fibre, soil fingerprint & pH analysis. The schools compete against each other.
