Classics outreach

2 teachers will spend a morning with the Year 3 pupils of Fordbridge Community Primary School who have been learning Latin all year as part of their literacy and Primary Language schemes. This morning will celebrate the pupils’ achievements throughout the year in Latin, and include Latin masterclasses to these groups of pupils. This gives the pupils the opportunity to learn Latin from a specialist teacher, and allows their usual teachers a chance to pick our brains and ask any Latin related questions they have, as they are teaching Latin as non-specialists. It is always fun to spend time with pupils of this age, and we are very happy that we are able to offer this to Fordbridge Community Primary School without charge.
