Impact Statement
As an Independent Prep school we share the use of the fully equipped science labs, equipment and grounds with state schools. These facilities include the extensive grounds which provide opportunities for research and study including the pontoon and lakes.
In addition we share the use of the food technology lab with state schools including fully equipped kitchens and food preparation areas. The Lantern Hall provides local state schools with the opportunity to perform music concerts and "Little Monkeys" pre-school soft play and gym invites local parents to bring their young children to develop their gross motor skills. Music examinations are also held in the Music Department where local schools have access to all the facilities.
Sporting events are hosted by the Games Department and state schools have use of the sporting facilities. This together with coaching in football and cricket ensures that children have access to the fields and sports equipment on offer. Tournaments are hosted for Oxfordshire Primary Schools' for football and cricket. The swimming pool is available for Saturday morning swim club and weekly swimming lessons with a local primary school.
In addition, the new minibus services loans the buses to local state schools for their trips.
