Impact Statement
Oundle School’s Partnerships and Outreach programmes have a total attendance of over 30,000 people per year. This is in addition to the extensive programme of Community Action which has over 300 pupils engaged in weekly service opportunities amounting to over 12,000 pupil hours per year. The school employs 3 members of academic staff with at least 50% allocation to Partnerships and Outreach.
Many of the partnership activities are based around STEM subjects but others include Creative Writing, Debating, Careers and Sport. The OPEN Learning Partnership supports several regular events supporting children from all backgrounds to develop their skills and confidence in Maths, Engineering and the Sciences. The summer STEM Festival in July is expected to reach over 3000 children this year on residential courses, hearing from guest speakers and participating in practical workshops. The school also supports online programmes which connect us with schools nearby and further afield.
