Year 6 English Students Support

A New Hall English Teacher voluntarily works with a small group of the most able English students at Cressing Primary School once a week in order to provide stretch and challenge in English.

Aims

The aim of this partnership is to provide stretch and challenge in English for these most able English students.

Background

New Hall English Teacher was in discussion with the Head Teacher of Cressing Primary School about how she can best help the school. She met with the Head of Literacy and they decided she could best support by giving the most able students in Year 6 a taste as to what to expect in English in Year 7.

Pupil Involvement

The pupils involved are in Year 6.

Frequency

This support is provided once a week.
