Teacher academic mentoring of pupil

One of our teachers meets monthly to academically mentor a student through a programme called 'Futures Mentoring'.

Aims

To mentor promising students and increase their aspirations academically and in terms of future university study.

Background

Futures Mentoring programme. The teacher originally mentored as part of Teach first programme. The partnership with this student has been established for 1 year.

Improvement in academic results. University entry.
