Sport Partnerships

Independent Coach Education: King Henry's regularly hosts Independent Coach Education for training courses for Sport and PE Teachers. This involves the use of the King Henry VIII pool and the opening of the course for state and independent school teachers across the West Midlands.

Play Netball!: Play Netball is an national organisation which encourages people to get out on the court and play netball. The Coventry regional base takes place at King Henry's each week!

Henley Netball Club: Henley Netball club use King Henry VIII Sports Centre as part of their training for local competitions and leagues.

Flyte Gymnastics Club: Flyte Gymnastics Club are a local gymnastics club in Coventry who use King Henry VIII Sports Centre as one of their training basis for preparation for local competitions.

Rivers of Living Waters Gymnastics Club: The Gymnastics Club tumble each week at King Henry VIII School and are a club dedicated to training young gymnasts of all levels. Their coaches are all DBS, volunteers, trained and consistently updating skills and qualifications with British Gymnastics. This ensures a fresh, vibrant approach to provide boys and girls the opportunity to experience gymnastics in a safe and friendly environment whilst having fun with professional coaches.

Coventry Martial Arts and Tak Kwon-Do: Proaction Martial Arts and Fitness run family Tae Kwon-Do classes run at King Henry VIII School in the Sports Hall.

Coventry Triathletes: Coventry Triathletes use King Henry VIII School as their base for training and competition preparation. More information https://covtri.co.uk/

Jaguar Landrover Netball Club: The Netball Club compete in the Coventry and Warwickshire Netball League, training each Tuesday at King Henry's.

Kenilworth Cricket Club: King Henry VIII School have strong links with Kenilworth Cricket Club, with a number of old boys and current pupils and their families playing for the club. King Henry's provides sponsorship to support the club.

East Haddon School of Dance: King Henry's sponsors East Haddon School of Dance's performances, providing support to the theatre events. There is a strong link with a number of Henry's pupils involved in the dance group.

Coventry Rugby Clubs: King Henry's are supporters of Coventry Rugby Club, providing sponsorship to the first team and are currently developing relations in regard to future partnerships linking coaching, facility sharing and matchday support.

Coventry and Earlson T'ai Chi: Coventry and Earlson T'ai Chi  hold their weekly classes in the evening in the Drama Studio at King Henry VIII School. T'ai Chi is a gentle but powerful system of movements and exercises, designed to improve wellbeing and to help us operate more harmoniously with our surroundings.

Qi Gong at KHVIII: Kathleen Conway has partnered with King Henry VIII School for her weekly Qi Gong class. Qi Gong is an ancient form of healing exercises, dating back 1800 years, which improves fitness, health and wellbeing.  For further information http://www.kathleenconway.co.uk/

Aerotech Labs Badminton Club: Aerotech Labs Badminton Club use King Henry's sports facilities to prepare and practise for their weekly games in the Coventry Badminton League.

Coventry Sphinx Netball Club: Coventry Sphinx currently have 2 match teams who play every Saturday and we train every Wednesday at King Henry VIII School, 7:30-9:00pm.


Coventry Sub Aqua Club: train at the King Henry's Sports Centre every Thursday evening. The club teaches those who want to learn to Scuba Dive and snorkel.
