International Cross of Nails School

King Henry is an International Cross of Nails School, that is we are part of a network of schools that are part of the CCN. Any school showing that reconciliation is a key part of their life and ethos are encouraged to apply to join ICONS.

There are a growing number of schools in nine countries spanning the USA, South Africa, UK and mainland Europe.

Each school is different and contributes to peace and reconciliation in unique ways. Therefore, each application is different and creative. The common, unifying factor is that each school has embedded reconciliation so that it impacts on all areas of school life; curriculum, policies, planning, extra-curricular activities, discipline, playground life and even in the staff room! ICON Schools also have meaningful links with their local community and Coventry Cathedral.
