Sixth form Community Service Placements

Sixth form students volunteer at Chelmondiston Primary, Holbrook Primary and a local care home as part of the sixth form Community Service programme.

Aims

The aim of the partnership is to build a relationship with the local primary school, providing girls with valuable leadership experience.

Background

The partnership came about through the Community service strand of the Sixth Form curriculum. The partnership has been running since the Spring term 2015.

Resources

The School Minibus is important to this partnership as it enables girls to attend. 

Pupil Involvement

Up to four girls from Ipswich High School attend the Primary School. The girls are 16 - 18 years old.

Frequency

This occurs weekly, every Friday afternoon.
