Lambrook Swim School Partnership

It is our pleasure to welcome Winkfield St Mary's C of E School to use our swimming pool every Friday next term. We hope that this will provide all of their year 5 & 6 children the opportunity to have structured swimming lessons.

 

Aims

Swimming is without doubt a key skill for anyone to develop. The aim of our partnership is to help provide an opportunity for as many students as possible, within our local community, to benefit from the advantages it can bring. We provide a well-resourced and managed facility where students can develop their swimming skills; be it from basic water confidence and stroke development to initiating an interest in swimming at a competitive level.

Background

We have established our new programme with a focus on partnership and encouraging collaboration between all schools involved.

Our Swim School Partnership is an extension of our wider ISSP programme which sees us work with a large number of partner schools on a regualr basis.

Resources

We are providing the instructors and exclusive use of the pool free of charge.

Impact

The aim of our partnership is to help provide an opportunity for as many students as possible, within our local community, to benefit from the advantages it can bring. We provide a well-resourced and managed facility where students can develop their swimming skills.

Around 60 children from years 5 & 6.
