Holiday in Action
Our Holiday Action club runs during school holidays and is open to children from Reception age up to 14 years old. Children have the opportunity to benefit from the unique facilities available at our Foundation schools as well as a plethora of activities led by experienced specialist providers. The Warwick Schools Foundation provides 300 funded day places a year which are allocated to school children living in the CV34 area. The scheme provides children who do not have the financial means to access the club with the opportunity to take part in a wide range of extra-curricular activities that they might not otherwise have the chance to try. It also enables them to interact and play with other children in a safe and caring environment, outside of the traditional school setting. Activities on offer include swimming, cricket, arts and crafts, football, multi-sports, pottery, badminton, cookery, kayaking, wall climbing and netball. During some holidays, we also run our Action Plus programme for 12 to 14-year-olds, which includes a wide range of exciting outings and activities.
