Forest School Experience

A group of boys and girls from Checkendon Primary School joined our reception boys for weekly sessions at Forest School. This was done to provide our boys with the opportunity to mix with other children as well as provide the sessions for Checkendon. One of their parents wanted to gain experience in Forest School and has since gone on to train as an FS leader. They now run their own sessions and were delighted to have had the opportunity to work with us.

Our Head of Forest School has also been taking groups of pupils from St Nick's up to our forest school site, for weekly sessions. This went on throughout all of the last academic year and is continuing into the next.

Resources

Moulsford Preparatory School provides a member of staff along with use of its forest school.
