Cadet First Aid Training

Our RAF officer (CCF) assists TDET in training and preparing cadets ready for First Aid competitions.

Aims

To enable a better understanding of field First Aid for the TDET cadets and to allow them to apporach events and competitions with confidence.

Background

A link was made between the two schools' RAF units, and the experience and knowledge of our staff was identified.

Resources

Use of one Wellingborough School member of staff.

Impact

We are in the early days, but TDET have already reported on the qulaity of the training and how it has meant that their cadets are better prepared for competiitons.

Pupil Involvement

c. 8 pupils aged 15+ from TDET

Frequency

We are hoping to make this an annual opportunity.
