Ancient Vessels: A Schools Together Art Project

We were delighted to work with students from our multi-academy trust (MAT) partner ELAN’s primary schools to create some beautiful neolithic ceramic pot artwork.  

Our Head of Art gave a masterclass to representatives from each of the schools and provided the materials for creating some beautiful pots in their lessons in school. Their creations were fired in our kiln and the participating students then came together for the grand unveiling of an exhibition showcasing their work, complete with photos of the art-making process.

The students said how proud they were to see their work showcased – and rightly so! Below are photos of the creative process in action, and resulting exhibition.
